What is Packing List?
An itemized list of how a shipment is packed: contents, weights and dimensions.
A packing list details the contents of each carton, pallet or container in a shipment — items, quantities, net and gross weights, dimensions and shipping marks. Customs, forwarders and the consignee use it to verify the cargo and reconcile it against the commercial invoice and bill of lading.
