Shipping & Logistics
What is Full Container Load (FCL)?
A shipment that fills (or books) an entire container exclusively.
FCL (Full Container Load) means the cargo occupies a full container booked for a single shipper, even if not physically full. It is generally cheaper per unit, faster and lower-risk than sharing, because the box is sealed at origin and opened at destination without co-loading. Contrast with LCL, where multiple shippers share one container.
