Record July shows the ‘underlying strength of global container trade’

July saw a new record for container shipments in a calendar month, according to the latest data from Container Trades Statistics (CTS), which recorded 17.3m teu shipped, around 25,000 teu above the record set in May. “July was not only a standout month in isolation.
